Just flew in from Australia and I am exhausted. It has been about 30 hours straight of flying and pretty much no sleep. My baby boy was sick so he didn't sleep so I didn't sleep either. Hopefully will get a good nights sleep in San Jose.
This is the first time I have been to San Jose. It was great to see all the buildings and logos. I have worked on the web for over 12 years so it is a bit of a pilgrimage.
Checked in and went straight to the intro session of SemTech 2007. A quick overview of the Semantic Web, mainly focusing on RDF and OWL. Just a small taste of what is to come...
Tomorrow the rush starts, there are so many things going on. It will be hard to keep up.
I am attending
Semantic Web Applications Development Using Jena and
Building Semantically Enabled Scientific Applications tutorials tomorrow. I try to give updates throughout the day. If I don't have time (which I am sure I won't) I will update in the evening.
